Hey Ranger! Today we’re learning about Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring — why do they happen? 🍂 It’s because Earth is tilted, Ranger! Today you’ll match seasons to Earth’s tilt. Get matching!

Why is winter cold and summer hot? Here’s the secret: Earth is tilted! Imagine Earth is a spinning top that’s leaning over a bit. This tilt means different parts of Earth get more or less sunlight at different times of the year. When your part of Earth tilts TOWARDS the Sun, you get summer and lots of warm light. When it tilts AWAY, you get winter and less light. That’s why we have four seasons, and why they’re different in the northern and southern hemispheres. Cool, right?

Mission Objective: Learn how Earth’s tilt creates seasons and how hemispheres experience opposite seasons

Kitimu mission
🎯 YOUR MISSION

Mission: Match each season to the right position of Earth around the sun. Hint: it’s all about the angle of the sunshine.
