Hey Ranger! Today we’re learning about: Why does the sun rise and set, Ranger? 🌞🌜 Spoiler: it doesn’t — Earth is the one spinning. Today you’ll control the spin yourself. Mission: make day and night happen.

Ever wondered why we have day and night? It’s not magic, it’s something even cooler called ROTATION! Earth is like a spinning top, and as it spins, different parts of our planet face the Sun. When your side faces the Sun, it’s daytime and the Sun’s light reaches you. When your side spins away, it’s nighttime and you’re in Earth’s shadow. One full spin takes 24 hours, that’s one day! Ready to see Earth doing its dizzy dance?

Mission Objective: Understand how Earth’s rotation creates day and night cycles

Kitimu mission
🎯 YOUR MISSION

Mission: Spin the Earth and watch how day rolls around to night. See if you can spot the exact moment the sun ‘sets’ from space.
