EcoTraining’s Online Tracking Enthusiast Course introduces you to the art of animal tracking. This comprehensive wildlife tracking course covers identifying tracks, interpreting animal gaits, and understanding behaviour. Perfect for anyone eager to deepen their connection with wildlife.
Learning Objectives
Participants will gain skills in:
- Identifying and interpreting animal tracks and signs.
- Understanding animal gaits and behaviour.
- Tracking the Big 5 and small mammals.
- Learning about birds’ tracks and signs.
This wildlife tracking course equips you with the knowledge needed for safe and effective tracking on foot, including recognising key signs of potentially dangerous animals.
Course Format and Structure
Live Lectures: Sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 18:00 – 20:00 (GMT+2) (South African time).
Recorded Access: Revisit lectures anytime during the enrolment year.
Duration: Four weeks of structured learning.
