📅 Live Session Times
All live lessons take place at 18:00 (6:00 PM) South African Time (SAST / UTC+2), every Tuesday and Thursday. Each session runs for approximately 60–90 minutes, including a Q&A. Recordings are uploaded to your course portal within 48 hours.

How the Course Works
Attend the live Zoom lesson
Join 5 minutes before start time using the recurring Zoom link above. Camera on encouraged — it builds the community feel.
Catch the recording & resources
Within 48 hours of each session, the recording, slides, study guide and reference PDFs go live inside your course portal.
Practise & engage in WhatsApp
Share track photos, questions and observations in the WhatsApp group between lessons. The more you engage, the more you learn.
Complete the final assessment
Open online from 15 June, closing 23 June at 23:59 SAST. Successful candidates receive their EcoTraining Tracking Enthusiast certificate.
⚠️ Important Reminders
- Save the Zoom link — it stays the same for every lesson, so no need to hunt for new ones.
- Add sessions to your calendar — every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:00 SAST through to 4 June (Lesson 2 falls on Friday 8 May due to the public holiday week).
- Recordings are view-only via the course portal — they are not downloadable.
- Public holidays: 1 May (Workers’ Day) & 16 June (Youth Day) — no scheduled sessions on these dates.
- WhatsApp etiquette: Keep posts course-related — track ID, sightings, questions, observations.
